SXSW Sydney: We Broke Programmatic. Now What?

We were proud to host a panel discussion at SXSW Sydney 2025 , titled “We Broke Programmatic. Now What?” featuring Foxcatcher’s own Karan Kent (Head of Sales, APAC) alongside Matt Proud (The Trade Desk) and Aimee Gossage (Audience Group), moderated by Natasha Lee from Mediaweek Australia.

The discussion cut to the heart of programmatic advertising’s gap between expectation and real-world results. Kent urged us to question the “utopian world” of programmatic. Automation may improve things, but the human factor remains essential, and transparency, collaboration, and early involvement in the briefing process, are more important now than ever.
